The Wales Health Impact Assessment Support Unit’s (WHIASU) free Introduction to Health Impact Assessment (HIA) e-learning is now available to access in a new location. The course is now hosted on the Learning@Wales platform, where WHIASU can set up our own accounts for users to access the course.
The course is available to anyone to access. It is aimed at those who are new to carrying out HIAs, those with an interest in them or health integration into other impact assessments and who would like to learn more. The course is aimed at those working across the wider public health workforce and both health and non-health policy sectors in Wales including public bodies, Third Sector, communities, commissioners and private citizens.
To access the e-learning course:
- If you have a Learning@Wales account already: Log in to the Learning@Wales site and find the Introduction to HIA course via the ‘NHS’ tab and by clicking on the ‘Public Health Wales WHIASU’ page. Please contact [email protected] and we will email you to provide access.
