Kat is a Research Officer within the Public Health Collaborating Unit (PHCU) at Bangor University. Kat is a mixed-methods researcher with expertise in violence prevention, particularly adverse childhood experiences (ACEs). She also sits on the Bangor University School of Health and Medical Sciences Ethics review panel. Kat previously worked at PHW as the research lead for the Police Innovation Funded, Early Intervention and Prevention project. Kat completed her PhD at Liverpool University, which explored women’s alcohol consumption during pregnancy in Scotland. In her spare time she enjoys baking and making pottery.
