WHIASU have recently updated their HIA e learning course to include their quality assurance (QA) review framework for HIA and new examples of the practical application of HIA in communities, housing and health & social care. The QA tool is the first broad appraisal tool developed for HIA globally and is useful for any individuals wishing to independently assess the quality of a HIA, its contents and the associated report.
The e learning course is available on our Training and learning page and is free to access via the Cardiff Metropolitan University website. The six modules provide a basic overview of HIA and are suitable for those working across a range of sectors and policy areas.
