WHIASU coordinates a Health Impact Assessment (HIA) Network of Practice, which aims to support professional development in HIA by bringing people together to learn, share practice, and further develop knowledge and skills. It is an open space for colleagues both internally and externally to Public Health Wales (PHW), where we encourage members to share their work, explore challenges and opportunities in HIA and ask for advice from others in the field. We host sessions four times a year, with the focus changing every time to suit different needs.

Soon, it will also give attendees the opportunity to receive a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) certificate for attending the events too, if that is something that interests you.

If you like to join the Network, or would like some more information, please email Michael Fletcher – [email protected]
