Cardiff Council and Cardiff and Vale Public Health Team have worked in partnership to develop a briefing paper on the topic of ‘Obesity, Hot Food Outlets and Planning in Cardiff’ which investigates whether there is an association between deprivation, hot food outlets and childhood obesity.
The paper provides an overview of the approach taken, highlights the current situation in Cardiff, draws conclusions from the available local data and provides recommendations for future action.
