Michael currently works as a Public Health Officer within the Wales Health Impact Assessment Support Unit (WHIASU), specialising in Policy and Health Impact Assessment (HIA). Michael coordinates the HIA Network of Practice, supports the provision of advice, training and guidance on HIA and leads and contributes towards HIAs undertaken within Public Health Wales on areas such as trade and health, climate change and employment. Michael also supports other projects within the team including communications and website management. He has previously worked in the Policy team and the Health and Sustainability Hub within the Policy and International Health Directorate.
