Cathy joined PHW as Senior Programme Manager, Value-based Public Health & Well-being Economy in April 2024. Previously, she spent 10 years in Welsh Government, including as one of the team that created the Well-being of Future Generations Act, and worked for the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales, leading on health equity, finance and prevention. More recently she worked for Social Finance UK, leading a systems change programme to prevent school exclusions. Outside of work she is a board member of Cadwyn Housing Association, chair of governors at Albany Primary School and regularly volunteers for the Tavistock Centre in Cardiff (which provides support to people who are homeless or vulnerably housed).
