Spatial planning, public health and health service policies: opportunities for improving health and addressing inequalities\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Thursday 8th February 2024<br><br><strong>9:30am \u2013 12.30pm (online)<\/strong><\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following last year\u2019s successful event, the Wales Health Impact Assessment Support Unit (WHIASU), Public Health Wales (PHW) is hosting its annual event supported by Public Health Network Cymru to bring together professionals working in, or with an interest in, health and spatial planning.<br><br><strong>Audience:<\/strong> The event is relevant to policy and development management planners; health professionals from local health boards including public health teams, strategy planning teams and capital estates\/facilities teams; and anyone with an interest in this agenda including transport planners, environmental health officers and built environment professionals.&nbsp;<br><br>This event focuses on changes in the planning policy agenda, public health and healthcare services\u2019 involvement in influencing the use of Section 106 monies, policies facilitating healthy food environments and an update of the Welsh Government Health Impact Assessment (HIA) Regulations. Relevant projects and case studies are presented.&nbsp;<br><br>Join us to connect with others and explore the challenges and opportunities to maximise health and wellbeing. &nbsp;&nbsp;<br><br><strong>How:<\/strong> This event is being held <strong>online <a href=\"https:\/\/publichealthnetwork.cymru\/event\/spatial-planning-public-health-and-health-service-policies-opportunities-for-improving-health-and-addressing-inequalities\/\">HERE<\/a><\/strong>.
