Tracy Evans is the Senior Sustainable Development Officer within the Health and Sustainability Hub at Public Health Wales.
Tracy’s aim in life is to make a difference to achieve a more sustainable lifestyle and to support others to do the same. Tracy is passionate about the environment and nature and loves spending time outdoors walking and mountain biking.
Tracy has extensive experience in environmental waste management, sustainable development, education for sustainable development & global citizenship, health & well-being and decarbonisation projects.
Tracy’s key achievements include developing and delivering the Caerphilly CBC Electric Vehicle Strategy, developing the BEES (Bees Educating Eco Schools) interactive bee hive house project, the first of its kind in Wales, developing educational resources, including the Global Games Resource and Solar Schools Resource and developing environmental award schemes, including the Eco Early Years Award Scheme and ESDGC Youth Award Scheme.
Tracy is currently supporting the Health & Sustainability Hub with projects focussing on sustainability, decarbonisation and biodiversity.
